From the
limestone quarry through to the raw mill grinding, kiln/cooling
and cement mill grinding, NFL makes a series of parts for
all types of machinery in cement production.
These casting are made out of a wide range of alloys, which
include amongst others:
- High
Chromium Alloy Irons with
excellent abrasion/wear resistance at a level of toughness
able to withstand the impact forces involved in ball mills,
crushers, pulverisers, etc. Typical examples of such parts
include Mill Liners and Diaphragm Plates.

Heat-resistant
wear parts for
kilns and coolers

Chromium
Molybdenum Steels with improved abrasion
resistance for maximum toughness and high strength where severe
impacting conditions exists.
- Heat
Resistant Stainless Steel
with high yield strength for working environments with temperatures
up to 1,150 degrees Celsius, characterized by high oxidation in
kilns, coolers and incinerators. Typical examples of such parts
include Planetary Cooler Lifters, Grate Coolers and Kiln Nose
Segments.
